Reference Photos
I only accept high quality, high resolution photos as reference images. I request at least 3 options given to me and I will choose the one that I believe will yield the best result.
Choosing a reference photo
It is my opinion that the best paints come from an image that not only captures the likeness of the subject but also the personality. Sometimes, the best portrait of someone isn’t just a clear photograph of their face, but a clear photo of their personality.
Portraits are the top requested commission I get! They make great gifts and can really make the space they will hang in personal and heart warming.
I enjoy working with my clients to create them. However, choosing the right photo is key in the results. I ask my clients to submit 3 options for me to look at. I reserve the right to pass on the project in the event a suitable reference photo can not be given.
